Hi, I’m Lea (like tea) Farrow
MARKETING STRATEGIST
SEO COPYWRITER
(AND CHIEF TEA BREWER)

I’m an Australian marketing strategist and SEO copywriter based on the North-West coast of Tasmania.
My specialties are building end-to-end digital marketing strategies for career and business coaches, and writing savvy content loved by audiences and search engines alike.
I’ve been a word nerd since I first learned how to read. But I’ve been a data dork for just as long.
These days, I get to live my best life: using my writing and digital skills to help business owners take full control of their marketing and business growth.
So, if you’re struggling to attract a regular stream of ideal clients for your coaching business, I have great news.
Instead of relying on guesswork, I help you set up an end-to-end strategy.
You get an organic marketing system designed for YOUR business that reliably brings in new clients – without having to spend thousands on fancy web designers, complex funnels, or ad campaigns.
MARKETING WHIZ
Too often, marketing is an afterthought for many business owners. But how many businesses can survive without a ready supply of clients?
As a marketing strategist, I love helping proactive business owners, like you, get in the driver’s seat of your marketing by building a strategy that becomes your business accelerator.
Then you choose how hard to push that pedal. One extra client a month, or five!? It’s up to you.
COPYWRITER
I crafted my first public words over 30 years ago, and I’ve been writing for large online audiences for more than 8 years.
I’ve written for leading worldwide publications such as HuffPost, Mamamia, and Scary Mommy. So you can be sure I know a thing or two about engaging an audience.
As an experienced copywriter, I draw out your brand voice and unique selling proposition, and package it up in clear messaging that turns prospects into clients.
SEO NERD
Whether it’s crafting SEO copy that delights both your audience AND Google or building great SEO foundations, I can make your business more visible online.
In today’s competitive market, harnessing the power of Search Engine Optimisation means you’ll show up in more online searches, drive more (free) traffic to your website, and get more eyes on your offer.
If you feel like your website is invisible online, then consider giving it an “SEO Kickstart”.
HELPING MY WONDERFUL CLIENTS ACHIEVE GREAT RESULTS

The process was so simple: Lea had me fill out a form and then she just whipped it all up! I’m sure it was more complex behind the scenes, but for me, it was such an easy process.
I cannot express how amazing it was to work with Lea on the copy for our website. My business was in its 10th year, so I decided to give the website a much-needed refresh, and I was very lucky to be able to work with Lea and have her assist me in generating the written content.

When you have been working in your business for so long it can be hard to take a step back and look at it from your customers’ perspective, so it was so beneficial to have someone else write up what I was finding hard to get into words.
I have had so many comments on how the words on our website speak to our clients and they feel a connection, which is over and above anything I could have hoped for. From my jumbled mess of ideas and information to really portray what we do and how we want to be known – Lea truly nailed it.
I’ve recommended Lea several times to my own clients and have no hesitations sharing her name. I look forward to working with her on many other projects!

Working with Lea was a delight. She’s one of those rare talents that combines creativity with accuracy, while being super organised. Lea was quick to understand our brief and was responsive when working through any revisions.
Her copywriting and SEO expertise was invaluable during a busy website renewal project and we’ve continued to use her skills on other projects while recommending her to others – without hesitation.

My expectations were exceeded, as Lea effortlessly found the voice I’d been searching for, giving my website and social media the tone I could never give it myself.
Working with Lea at Farrow Copywriting is an absolute pleasure. When I started my journey as a business owner, I’d never used a copywriting service before. Lea instantly put me at ease, getting to know myself and my brand inside out, by taking the time to listen.

With Lea’s help, we have achieved great outcomes across our digital content, including increasing web traffic and search engine rankings.
I met Lea to discuss optimising our website for an enhanced client experience. She was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable across not only website content but a range of media interfaces. This led to expanding Lea’s scope and I progressed with engaging her to improve the readability of not only our website but newsletters and media releases.
She was able to articulate in a way management could understand, and we have achieved great outcomes across our digital content, including increasing web traffic and search engine rankings (through SEO). We also have received positive feedback with our new-look newsletters.
I continue to engage Lea and would most definitely recommend her to other businesses.

HERE’S HOW MY STORY BEGAN (AND CAME FULL CIRCLE)
I live in a bushy suburb near Devonport, Tasmania. But thanks to the wonders of technology, I work with clients anywhere in Australia from my sunny home.
My husband and I are the co-creators of one climate change activist nature-loving daughter and two rapidly growing fishing-mad sons.
We live among the gum trees on a few acres.
So far we only share the space with two crazy cats and one noisy grey cockatiel (plus about a hundred wallabies and potoroos).
But if my daughter had her way we’d also keep sheep, a cow, miniature goats, some cockatoos, a husky, and a beehive.

I never had an ‘official start’ in writing.
Words and I found each other when I was five years old and I’ve been a word geek ever since.
When I’m not writing them, I’m reading them.
Maybe it’s an INFJ thing? And what’s more, so too is all the tea I drink.
My relationship with writing became a little strained when my left (analytical) brain took me off to uni to study for a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
I worked as a community pharmacist and manager for 20 years, across Victoria and Tasmania. I feel privileged that I had the opportunity to help so many patients from all walks of life and support people to live their best lives, no matter what stage they’re at.
But halfway through a career of living and breathing nothing but medical science, my right (creative) brain started demanding more attention.
One night, I sat down at my computer and the words began flowing as though a dam had broken.
For another decade, I managed a juggle of pharmacy, motherhood, and as much writing as I could squeeze in during my evenings and weekends.
I haven’t stopped writing since, and I couldn’t be happier.
COVID-19 was the push I needed to make a decision about my next chapter. And I won’t lie, it was tough to step away from my pharmacy career and forge a new path as a full-time marketer and copywriter.
But, looking back, it was the right move at the right time.
I now feel so lucky to be a marketing strategist and SEO copywriter. To not only be working with words and data every day, but also using those skills to help other business owners fit all the pieces into their marketing puzzle.
Thank goodness for computers and keyboards, though – writing as a left-handed person isn’t always so pretty.
Spare time?
There’s not a lot of that right now, to be honest, between clients, kids, and staying connected with my loved ones.
But when I do get a chance, I love heading out for family bushwalks – the longer the better.
I also enjoy baking cakes and biscuits, listening to music (loudly), and playing the most awesome pranks on my kids. Though they’re now old enough to get me back…
